So who is Barbara?

Barbara Kastelin was born at the end of WWII and brought up in Switzerland.

After university, she worked at the UN in Geneva and later in New York where she assisted the Secretary General in person. She also studied Copy Writing and Graphic Design in the New School, New York.

After many twists and turns, travel abroad and language-learning, Barbara married a British diplomat and had two daughters. A grandmother now, she lives with her husband and a poodle in Bedford, England.
